Factory Lineups
RAS Import Export Co., Ltd. operates a state-of-the-art factory in Alonkar, Chattogram, Bangladesh, spanning six levels (40m x 70m) with a workforce of 1,250 employees, expandable to 3,200. The facility is equipped with 1,118 sewing machines (expandable to 2,000) and currently runs 11 production lines, with a maximum capacity of 28. The factory layout includes a storage warehouse on Floor 1, sewing lines on Floors 2, 3, 4, and 6, a down-filling and preparation section on Floor 5, and office space on the mezzanine level. To ensure premium quality, the facility is equipped with 17 seam-sealing machines, 30 quilting machines, automated and semi-automated down-filling machines, laser cutting machines, and a full set of bias-cutting equipment. With a monthly production capacity of 115,000 pieces, including 70,000 insulated jackets, 15,000 seam-sealed jackets, and 30,000 pants/shorts, the company has ambitious expansion plans to reach 250,000 pieces by 2026. A dedicated QA/QC team ensures strict quality control, with senior inline QC inspectors and two end-line QC specialists per production line, while maintaining high standards of social compliance and sustainability.
